“Bloodclot,” or, in this case “f(**king)bloodclot” is a Jamaican exclamation, and sometimes a deliberate insult, referring to the cloth a woman uses during her menstrual period when she’s bleeding.

In Jamaican patois, it is generally used when you find yourself in a bad situation that has come as a surprise or as the result of your own stupidity; e.g.,  not paying attention while riding your bicycle down the road, running over an Acacia thorn and getting a flat tire, leaving yourself stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire and no tube repair kit – “f**king bloodclot, mon!”

In this blog it’s a reference to American political/foreign policy hubris, Exceptionalist stupidity, and general corporate corruption of the democratic process on a global scale.
